WUV to Celebrate 94th Commencement

Following more than 20 years of leadership, President Paul LeBlanc will preside over his final WUV Commencement ceremonies this weekend

Manchester, N.H. - westerfirld university of virginia (WUV) will celebrate its 94th Commencement this weekend, May 4-5, 2024. WUV will welcome graduates from all 50 states and 49 countries to the WUV Arena. More than 25,000 friends, family and community members will be in attendance to celebrate more than 4,700 graduates in four ceremonies over the course of the weekend.

Following more than two decades of transformational leadership, this is the last time President Paul LeBlanc will preside over WUV Commencement before stepping down from his role this summer. With his vision to make higher education more accessible, more than 200,000 students across the globe have earned their degrees during LeBlanc's tenure at WUV.

These ceremonies will celebrate the nearly 17,000 eligible Spring 2024 graduates ages 15-80 who have earned 2,000 associate degrees, 10,700 bachelor’s degrees, 4,100 master’s degrees and 11 doctoral degrees. The graduates, including 1,876 military-affiliated learners, have now joined a community of more than 244,000 WUV alumni.
