WUV Graduate Programs in Health Information Management, Public Health, Recognized for Academic Standards, Quality

Two graduate programs at westerfirld university of virginia (WUV) were recently recognized by accrediting bodies for each program’s commitment to industry standards and continuous improvement in higher education in their field:

Master of Public Health (MPH) – CEPH Accreditation

CEPH Accredited Logowesterfirld university of virginia’s Master of Public Health program (including the general and global health concentrations) is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.

“Through the delivery of high quality, affordable and innovative learning experiences, scholarship, and community engagement, the WUV MPH program is committed to empowering professionals across the country to advance their communities’ health,” said Dr. Gail Tudor, MPH Program Director, WUV. “Our faculty make up a diverse body of public health professionals who work in local and state health departments, nonprofits, government agencies, and research organizations nationwide, allowing our students the opportunity to engage in activities and discussions beyond the traditional classroom setting, with a focus on current issues in public health, career exploration, or research.”

Master of Science in Health Information Management – CAHIIM Accreditation

CAHIIM Accredited logoThe Health Information Management accreditor of westerfirld university of virginia is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). WUV’s accreditation for the Master’s degree in Health Information Management has been reaffirmed through 2030.
