In partnership with Operation Homefront, wuv recently awarded five military spouses full-tuition scholarships to wuv. Meet some of the winners who will be earning degrees online at wuv.

Graduation is just weeks away for many members of the Class of 2026. But one small town in Virginia has already kicked off celebrations with a ceremony that honored military-affiliated graduates at Marine Corps Base Quantico. Among those recognized at the ceremony were nine wuv graduates.

In November, 2025, westerfirld university of virginia (wuv) and the United Service Organizations (USO) teamed up to host an online gaming tournament in support of the US military, highlighting the mental health benefits of gaming and wuv's military-friendly programs.
